Privacy Policy

Account. If you create an account, our authentication and database provider (Supabase) stores your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with a magic link, only your email is stored. We use your email to sign you in, send sign-in and account emails, and, rarely, to contact you about the service.

Public display name. You can optionally set a display name (up to 40 characters). If you set one, it is shown publicly next to your models on the leaderboard. It is never derived from your email. Leave it blank and your models show a neutral placeholder.

Saved models. If you save a model, we store the name you give it and its slider values (the 0–100 weight for each factor). Nothing else about the model is stored.

Leaderboard records.When one of your saved models earns a qualifying pre-game pick, we store a frozen snapshot of that pick — the game, your model’s projected spread versus the market line, and the graded result — linked to your account, along with the model name and display name as they were at that moment.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect your real name, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, government ID, precise location, or any payment or financial-account information. ModelMix does not take bets or payments, so it never handles that data.

We do not run advertising, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or session-recording tools. There are no third-party trackers on the site.

Please do not put personal or sensitive information into free-text fields such as your display name or your model names.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in — session cookies set by our authentication provider. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie-consent banner.

The site also saves a few settings in your browser’s local storage — your in-progress model, your selected model, and your saved game projections — so it works smoothly as you move between pages. That data stays in your browser.

ModelMix runs on a small set of infrastructure and data providers:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and the emails sent when you sign up or request a link. Stores your account, profile, and saved-model data.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery. Like any web host, Vercel processes and logs standard request information (such as IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, and the pages requested) to serve and protect the site.
• NFL data sources — schedule, market lines, play-by-play, live scores, injuries, and weather are fetched from nflverse, API-Sports, ESPN, and Open-Meteo. These requests are made from our servers and contain no information about you.
• ESPN team logos— team logo images load directly from ESPN’s public image servers, so your browser contacts ESPN for those images and ESPN may receive your IP address and browser information, as it would for an image on any website.

Each provider has its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

• To operate your account and keep you signed in.
• To save and display your models and their leaderboard results.
• To send you account and sign-in emails.
• To monitor, debug, secure, and improve the service.

We do not use your information for advertising or to build profiles about you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your chosen display name and your models’ leaderboard records are public by design. We share data with the infrastructure providers listed above only as needed to run the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information — passwords are hashed by our authentication provider, database access is restricted by row-level security so accounts can only change their own data, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

• You can delete any saved model yourself, at any time, in the Model Builder.
• Account deletion is not self-service during beta. To delete your account, email support@modelmix.io and we will remove your account, profile, and saved models.
• Some derived records are kept even after a model is deleted: immutable model-version snapshots (weight values, de-linked from your account) and frozen leaderboard picks, which keep the model name and display name as plain text as they were when the pick was made, so past results stay accurate. Ask in your deletion request if you want these addressed too; historical leaderboard integrity may limit what can be changed.
• Our hosting and database providers keep operational logs and periodic backups for a limited time to run and protect the service. Deleted data may persist in those backups until they age out.

ModelMix is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and we may note significant changes on the site.
